Edwige at Night in Provincetown serves creative contemporary American cuisine, mixing in diverse influences from the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Asia. Our seafood, meat and produce is carefully chosen with high standards, and everything is prepared fresh daily. Chef/Owner Rocco Carulli and his staff bring a unique brand of upscale casual dining to Provincetown with incredible flavor and gorgeous presentation.

Our special signature cocktails are a wonderful way to begin your dining experience at Edwige at Night, and we are well-known for our spicy fresh Ginger Cosmo. Depending on the night you visit, we offer a variety of fresh fruit infused Cosmopolitans, including Pineapple, Cranberry, Strawberry and Watermelon, all delicious and very potent! We also have one of the best wine lists in town, and our staff is happy to recommend the perfect wine to compliment your meal.

OUR STAFF AND ATMOSPHERE

Imagine a fantastic dinner party with incredible food, great music and a festive mood…this is Edwige at Night. Upbeat modern lounge music, candlelight and closely arranged tables combine to foster an intimate dining experience, and it’s very likely that you will become friendly with the guests at the table next to you. It’s a lively social atmosphere where great food mixes with great conversation.

Our staff is friendly and unpretentious, with many of our servers returning year after year because of the family atmosphere. Whether in the main dining room or on our airy covered deck outside, our staff works as a team to ensure that each guest has a memorable experience. Rocco has fostered this easy, relaxed dining environment, and both guests and staff are palpably happy. We truly enjoy working together at Edwige.

This teamwork and camaraderie carries over into Carnival season each August, when we design and build amazing parade floats and costumes. Our talented staff just happens to include painters, composers, costume and set designers, carpenters…it’s almost as if Rocco hand-picked his very own theatrical company! Our efforts have earned us many awards and trophies, but the best part of winning is that we have fun making it happen together.

OUR ORIGINS

Originally opened in 1974, Edwige was named in honor of the owner’s mother and became a Provincetown staple, with a cozy second-story dining room and interesting loft-style architecture. Many years later, the incredibly warm and energetic Nancyann Meads became owner of Cafe Edwige and hired two young chefs, Rocco Carulli and Stephen Frappolli. Both were Culinary Institute of America graduates and brought a lively and innovative collaboration to the restaurant.

In 1999, Nancyann decided to focus on breakfast and she offered her talented chefs the opportunity to create their own scene for dinner. Edwige at Night was born, and for the following seven years Rocco and Stephen built a steady clientele of guests from New York, Boston, DC, Providence and across Cape Cod. Rocco continues now as the sole creative director of Edwige at Night, with Nancyann at the helm of Cafe Edwige in the morning.
